The Cosmetology Nail Institute, Transfer Hours Policy

With regard to Satisfactory Academic Progress, a student’s transfer hours will be count as both attempt and earn hours. Future Professionals who wish to transfer to The Cosmetology Nail Institute must first meet all admission requirements stated in the catalog. The school will only accept up to 700 transfer hours from a school other than The Cosmetology Nail Institute. A transcript of hours, grades, and performances from the previous school must be provided for approval prior to enrolling. A practical evaluation may be administered to determine appropriate placement in the program if necessary. Each Future Professional will be assigned to the class level appropriate for his/her ability and previous educational experiences. Cosmetology transfer will pay $4.50 per hour needed. In addition, a registration fee of $150.00, student kit and books can be purchased to complete training, if necessary.
